Extended Group Projects
- Require more than a class period to complete
- Require teams to meet outside of class time and usually use email for group communication
- Require data gathering, data modeling, multiple mathematical topics, and a final technical report
- Sometimes requires a class presentation

- Interesting real world application that requires data generating or gathering
- Project sheet that includes the instructions
- Experimental equipment used to gather data
- Grading rubric and report writing suggestions
- Due date and intermediate check points for drafts
- Individual project and team evaluation form Individual quiz at the conclusion of the project
