Writing, Solving and Critiquing Questions

  • This activity is used after a topic has been presented and practiced.
  • It is best used when the topic is easily related to real world applications.
  • Each team writes a question, then solves another team’s question, then critiques and evaluates yet another team’s question and answer.

One very good example and one poor example was chosen. Team grades are assigned by grading each part and using the following percentages: 40% on the question writing, 20% on the solving the application, and 40% on the critiquing and evaluating section.
